The new format will find John Suffling’s B team also facing trips to Dunholme, Boston B, Sleaford, Skegness and Grantham.

Three teams successfully negotiated their way to the knock out rounds and another played a strong Nottingham side on the quarters.
Hilary & Graham Watson with Rosemary Roberts and Tony Dolby fought well in the knock out round without avail. Whilst Pete Linnell, Bob Sandall With Rita & Sam Downs fought back well against their opposition only to narrowly on the last end by 5 shots to 7.
It was then left to the newly put together rink of veterans, John & Shirley Suffling together with relative newcomers, Mark & Maxine Webb to take on Dave Adams rink from Nottingham. Not scoring in the early ends saw them fall behind only to rally to leave a nail biter last end to play. The shots holding changed from 2 up to 2 down on several occasions on this end but sadly for Stamford the final score went Nottingham's to progress them to the semis.
However with Stamford having a greater proportion of entered rinks reaching the final stages than other club's they were awarded the Top Club Trophy.
