Still smarting from 18-0 trouncing by Spalding A, Sleaford entertain Stamford A on Sunday. But the visitors will take nothing for granted in this, their second Lincs Division One fixture.

After beating Boston away by 11 shots, taking 14 of the 18 points available in their opening match, Stamford bowlers will have to adjust to a slower surface but are confident they have enough fire power to capitalise. The only change is the introduction of Mick Humphreys into Roger Martin's rink.

Stamford's B team, meanwhile entertain Louth B on Sunday in a depleted third division which generates only six fixtures, of which this is the first of the season, for Stamford.

Stamford's Lincs Senior League Division Two side have made a disappointing start to the season after being relegated from the first division, suffering two away defeats.

Against Long Sutton they lost by 26 shots, securing only two points from one winning rink, but at Dunholme they doubled their points tally despite a 104-95 shots defeat.

Best of the bunch were David Howarth, Terry Weaver, Charlie Jones and Richard Martin who strolled to a 34-5 win, while John Geary's rink won 17-15.
