Stamford Men's A team are the 2016-17 First Division champions of the Lincs Co-op-sponsored Lincs County League - for the first time in the club's 27-year history.
The title was clinched on Sunday without a bowl being delivered when Louth A overcame a weakened Spalding A team 95-89, claiming 16 of the 18 points available.
It leaves Stamford A, with 102 points after six victories from eight matches - 21 points clear and out of reach of their nearest rivals Louth A and Spalding A.
It completes an outstanding treble for Stamford bowlers with the Men's Third Division title already wrapped up for Stamford B and the First Division Mixed League all but secured bar an unforeseen catastrophe.
Said Men's A captain Bob Warters: " I want to take this opportunity to thank every player in the squad who contributed to this historic title.
"Spalding and Boston, our nearest local rivals, have some outstanding players but they could not compete with the spirit and camaraderie among the Stamford players who have also shown plenty of skill and determination during the campaign. The club and its membership can be rightly proud of all our teams."
FOOTNOTE: Stamford B also won the Lincs Men's Third Division, Stamford Mixed are unassailable in the county first division and the Over 60s Men are chasing hard for Division One status next season, with a season-defining match at home to Dunholme on Thursday morning.
