A short survey has been launched by the Bowls Development Alliance, to which Stamford IBC is affiliated, which aims to understand bowlers’ attitudes to returning to play.
A short survey has been launched by the Bowls Development Alliance, to which Stamford IBC is affiliated, which aims to understand bowlers’ attitudes to returning to play.
This will in turn determine the support it offers clubs bringing bowlers back to the sport.
We are encouraging our members to give a few minutes of their time to gauge what kind of appetite bowlers have to enjoy our sport, despite Covid-secure restrictions similar to which were in place from August to November.

Those clubs who, like us, opened their doors, provided a hub within their community for their members and experienced good levels of participation.
We know that the Coronavirus pandemic and lockdown restrictions have had a huge impact on people’s ability to play bowls. This short survey will enable the BDA to recognise how you are feeling and what support is needed to return.
Deadline for completed surveys is Sunday 28th February.
