The early rounds of the Stamford IBC mixed pairs and men's singles have been drawn with some intriguing tussles in both competitions.

GREAT WIN FOR NEIL AND HELEN

Neil Wright and Helen Holroyd combined in some style to win a tough home tie in the national mixed pairs.

The new combination beat established husband and wife duo from Spalding - Annie and Scot Dunham - 19-6.
