Dolby late call for Lincs Liberty team

WITH Martyn Dolby called up for the Lincolnshire Liberty Trophy side against Nottinghamshire at Spalding on Saturday (October 28) Stamford Men's A side has been re-shuffled for the visit to Boston (2pm).

Stephen Harris, Simon Law and James Harford will also represent Stamford in the Liberty.

For their first match in their defence of the Lincolnshire Division One title, which the club won for the first time in its history, Stamford A name Peter Cox and Richard Montgomery to be drafted into the team.

Cox will join John Holroyd, Mick Humphreys and Jon Earl, making a welcome return to the game after illness, while Montgomery teams up with Langtoft team-mate in Neil Wright's rink with Paul Dalliday.

Stamford A: P Cox, J Holroyd, M Humphreys, J Earl; D Hudson, C Watson, D Want, P Edwards; J Travis- Jenner, Mal Smith, A Warrington, P Bailey; A Romaine, R Allam, B Warters, Roger Martin; P Dalliday, M Cullingworth, R Montgomery, N Wright. For those not making their own travel arrangements, transport leaves the Stamford club at 12.15pm.

Simultaneously, Stamford Men's B will entertain Louth B at 1.10pm. On Sunday, Stamford Mixed visit Lincoln A.

FOOTNOTE: Stamford Over 60s League team were due to host Louth on Wednesday but the North Lincolnshire outfit couldn't raise a team and the fixture will have to be re-arranged.
