Egham Trophy clash switched to November 24

Following the five shot defeat of Spalding in the prestigious Egham Trophy, Stamford will play Lincoln in the third round.
The fixture has been brought forward to Saturday, November 24 at 5pm to accommodate some fixture congestion.
The Stamford team, yet to be finalised, will play two mixed rinks at home and two away, simultaneously, aggregate scores earning a fourth round place on December 9 against either Nottingham or South Forest respective winners over Bassetlaw and Barwell.

In an all-Stamford EIBA triples clash, Paul Dalliday, James Harford and Simon Law beat clubmates Adam Warrington, Bob Warters and Neil Wright 19-18.
Turning point came on the 12th end when Law drew his three bowls in tight to the jack for a six count to lead 12-8 and although Wright hit back with a four count, they were unable to find the shots to force an extra end.
STAMFORD SENIORS TO REPRESENT COUNTY
Senior bowlers at Stamford (Over 60s) will be represented by two of the six rinks at York on Monday (November 19, 12 noon) for the first round match for Lincolnshire against Durham in the national Senior Liberty Knock-out competition.
Lincs just missed out on reaching the final last year - beaten by one shot by Norfolk at St Neots and are determined to at least go one better.
Peter Edwards and Jeff Newson (pictured left) will skip the Stamford rinks while other clubs represented will be Lincoln, Scunthorpe, Boston and Horncastle.

COUNTY COMPETITIONS REACHING CLIMAX
John Holroyd, Derek King and Mike Ramsden are the first of six bowlers to qualify for the knock out stages of the Lincs men's county singles, having beaten Mark Hebden, Wayne Aspinall and his son Owen respectively in the Stamford IBC internal qualifiers.
Players have until December 9 to play their final qualifying rounds in six disciplines.

ROYAL BRINGS HIS ROADSHAW
World-ranked bowler Mark Royal (pictured left) will be bringing his Potters Roadshow retail bowls shop to Stamford IBC on Wednesday November 21 from 12 noon - 7pm.
As well as sets of the latest bowls, bowls clothing, shoes and equipment for sale, the Suffolk-based player is always happy to answer questions and offer advice to bowlers whether new or experienced.
Mark was the first winner of the inaugural Stamford Singles Open in 2015 when he beat Andrew Walters in an explosive final.
WOMEN'S COUNTY LEAGUE TEAM TO FACE SLEAFORD
Stamford women bowlers will entertain Sleaford on November 21 (10.30am) in their next Trudy Bates A League match.
