Stamford IBC men's A team face a tough task when they visit Lincolnshire League division one leaders Lincoln A on January 27 (1.30pm) in pursuit of the title Stamford won last season for the first time in their history.

Lincoln have already won their first four matches - amassing 62 points - while Stamford have won twice out of three, picking up 37 points.

Stamford will be without a handful of regulars but are confident that those who step up - including 17-year-old James Hebden making his A team debut - will adapt to the slick Lincoln surface.

Stamford A v Lincoln A :(provisional) Richard Allam, Mick Linnell, Neil Wright, Paul Bailey; Dave Hudson, Cliff Watson, Doug Want, Peter Edwards; Alan Romaine, Alan Barnes, Richard Montgomery, Roger Martin; Wayne Aspinall, Malcolm Cullingworth, Bob Warters, Simon Law; James Hebden, Mike Ramsden, John Holroyd, Jonathan Earl.

Stamford B will be playing Sleaford at home (Jan 27) with a 1.10pm start.
