IT'S HAPPENED AGAIN! - Charnwood Friendly

At the halfway stage against Charnwood IBC in Loughborough our Saturday Friendly team were only two shots behind at the halfway stage and then that well known saying, "the wheels came off"' struck again and they plummeted to a 107 - 84 defeat.

They did however have one winning rink that of Diane Lunn, Kevin Toner and Tim Stokes who triumphed 20 - 14. This was particularly encouraging for newcomer Kevin and newish to the role of skip, Tim Stokes. Our Friendly crew are on the road again next Sunday this time to Melton Mowbray. So far this season they will have played five out of their six games away. Next comes four at home on the trot. Let's hope home advantage will stem the tide!
