Post date: Mar 7, 2018 11:09:43 AM

Stamford’s popular Under 18 Tournament returns on Sunday 25 March 2018. This prestigious competition has been won in the past by local players Stephen Harris & Jay Travis Jenner but also attracts entries from around the region. Won last year by Adam Fuller from South Forest who is unable to return, due to having run foul of the entry condition, relating to his age. This year it is sure to be fiercely contested by last year’s runner up, Paul Warrington from Melton Mowbray particularly as this will be last year he is eligible to compete.. Whilst we have entries from Riverain (Herts), Carterton (Oxon), Church Gresley (Derbys), Huntingdon, King’s Lynn (Norfolk), Desborough (Northants) as well as Spalding & Boston in Lincolnshire there are still some spaces left due to a number of other competitions for juniors taking place in the region. The event will be sponsored by D&M Sports of Spalding and has a prize pot of £150.

Entry is £5, and forms can be obtained from Mike Ramsden Tel: 01780 460490 or downloaded from the club website.

The club has a number of promising juniors who have been honing their skills at the Junior Academy on Thursday afternoon at 4.15/4.30 pm.

Details about the coaching are available from Keith Rippin Tel: 01780 754274 or Mike Ramsden.
