Bake with Jack: Actually make Garlic bread
3 gr yeast
160 gr water room temp
250 gt bloem
4 gr salt
1 - 1,5 uur rijzen
250 gr boter (veel te veel, 100 is zat)
3 geraspte knofitenen (2 zijn genoeg)
thijm leaves chopped
pinch salt
Verboden lekker, zo fluffy en zacht, verslavend gewoon
Wel even youtube kijken voor manieren om het te vormen, ik heb vlecht gemaakt
Make the dough
Let it proof for 1 - 1,5 hours
Shape two balls out of the dough, let it rest for 20-15 min
Make two disks and role them out to squares
Spread garlic butter out, leave a small stripe clean that can stick later when roling
Sprinkle cheese on it (niet gedaan, hoeft denk ik ook niet, is al 'erg' genoeg)
Role them up, end with the bare stripe of dough and seam it up
Role more till you’ve two long sausages
Slice them open, so you’ve four half sausages.
Lay two over one another in a braid so that the cutted sides show
Lay both braids in a square baking dish
Proof for 1 to 1,5 hours
Oven 200°C, 30-35 min
After baking spread rest of garlic butter on top and sprinkle with sea salt (heb ik niet gedaan, was al vet genoeg)
