Poisons and Diseases

Diseases and poisons serve an integral part of gameplay, including debilitating effects which harm those who are affected by these ailments. Both diseases and poisons work in similar manners, save that diseases are usually slow working and poisons are fast acting. Both can lead to death, and both have horrifying results.

If these diseases or poisons damage a character's total HP and a character is cured of the disease, the damage to their total HP recovers after 1d3 days of being cured.

Being reduced to 0 total HP is instant death.
