Nonheroic

Nonheroic characters are the standard people who inhabit words. Peasants, common workers, and other non-hero characters.

It is not recommended for player characters to play a nonheroic.

HP: Nonheroics start with 30 + Double Constitution as Hit Points.

(Increasing a Nonheroic's HP costs 3 EXP and grants the Nonheroic 1d6 + Double Constitution for HP.)

Defense Bonuses: Nonheroic receive a +1 bonus to Fortitude Defense and Reflex Defense.

Nonheroic characters gain a +1 bonus to Strength, Constitution, or Wisdom (the player's choice). The EXP cost of these stats for advancement is reduced to 10 EXP.

Attack Bonus: Nonheroics receive an attack bonus of +0. This attack bonus can be increased by another +1 by spending 5 EXP up to a maximum of +8 Attack Bonus.

Skills: Nonheroics receive 1 starting rank in the following skills; Artisan, Awareness, Drive (or Ride), Knowledge (choose one), Ride (or Drive), and Use Computers (if the Nonheroic is from a futuristic area).

Nonheroics automatically receive the following:

    • Weapon Proficiency (Simple)

    • Weapon Proficiency (Choose two)

    • Armor Proficiency (Light)

Nonheroics (unlike normal player characters) have a stat cap of 5 in each stat, and a hit dice cap of 10d6. They also possess a feat cap of 8, not including their starting feats.

Nonheroics have an EXP cap of 30 Total EXP, and cannot advance beyond this.
