Nature

Magic of this type is specifically tied to nature, and natural phenomena. Though some aspects of arcane magic deal with natural effects (such as natural elements of fire and water), Nature magic expressly deals with magic that draws strength from magic.

Nature spells are strengthened when cast in environments which the spells are tied to, and thus spells will have tags that relate to environments. Such environments include but are not limited to {Forest}, {Desert}, {Plains}, {Swamp}, and even {Urban}. Spells with the {Urban} tag usually relate to spells which affect some aspect of a town or city (such as affecting stone, metal, or even household plants). Spells which are cast in their natural environment receive a +2 bonus variables with the spell (attack with the spell or if the spell affects you or an ally the bonus it grants is increased by 2). Spells with elemental tags such as {Fire}, {Earth}, {Water}, and {Wind} receive benefits in specific environments listed below.

    • Fire: Volcanoes and eruption sites.

    • Earth: Caves and dungeons.

    • Water: Oceans and near bodies of water.

    • Wind: Any stormy area or cloudy terrain.

Spells are unable to be cast outside of the environment listed unless the spell "natural acclamation" is cast beforehand. If this must be done, the bonus listed above isn't granted. Upon receiving "Nature" magic, one is able to cast Natural Acclamation.
