Hackphone Upgrade

You can use your spellphone to hack aspects of reality.

EXP Cost: 4 EXP

Prerequisite(s): Cellphone Bond, 10 Ranks in Use Computers

Benefit(s): As a standard action you can hack a certain aspect of reality. These hacks are simple, yet reality still lashes back against these unwanted changes. The hacks are referred to as "Reality Edits" and "Reality Backlashes" are what occurs with these edits, adversely affecting the person affected. Your Reality Edits can apply to anyone within 12 squares of you that's an ally. These last for 1 round per your Intelligence, and can be ended by as a swift action by you or the recipient if they're different. Multiple of these can be active.

These are structured as follows: Reality Edit / Reality Backlash

• • Increase land speed by 12 squares / Must move in straight lines

  • Grant a fly speed of 6 squares / Decrease land speed by 6 squares (minimum 1)

  • Grant a held weapon a +4 bonus to damage / Quadruple the weapon's weight

  • Grant a set of armor/shield a +2 Armor Bonus / Double the armor/shield's weight
