Your use of the heal skill is beyond that of normal application.

EXP Cost: 2 EXP

Benefit(s): When using the Heal skill, gain a bonus equal to your casting stat when making checks. In addition, instead of the normal application of the Heal skill, you can use it to help an ally recover a number of HP equal to your casting stat multiplied by 10. (A 4 Intelligence yields +40 to HP). This use of the skill can only be done once per encounter, and requires a DC 15 check to succeed.
