Noble
The noble court is an ill place for those who are not trained to withstand it. Those who are not bred to experience it.
HP & Defenses
Nobles possess a d8 Hit Die, and they start the game with 40 Hit Points (plus double Constitution and other modifiers). By spending 3 XP the Noble can gain a Hit Die, increasing their Hit Points accordingly.
They also receive a +2 bonus to Reflex Defense and Will Defense.
Stat Bonuses
Monks receive a +1 bonus to one of the following attributes; Dexterity, Intelligence, or Charisma.
Increasing these attributes outside of character creation is done at a discount (10 XP per increase instead of 20 XP)
Attack Bonus
Nobles receive a +1 Attack Bonus.
By spending 5 XP the Noble can increase their Attack Bonus by +1, to a maximum of +10.
Skill Points
Nobles receive 1 rank in the following skills at character creation;
Awareness
Deception
Knowledge (History, Nobility, Humanoids, and Tactics)
Linguistics
Persuasion
Starting Feats
Nobles receive the following starting feats;
Charm
Nobles have a pool of social energy they can expend to make themselves act proper and right in a social situation. This pool is equal to 3 + Charisma, and 1 point can be spent per round in order to add +1d6 to a Charisma-based skill. This extra d6 explodes on 6 results.
Immense Presence
Nobles have a certain air about them which aides their allies, all allies able to see and hear them receive a +2 competence bonus to all Defenses. This bonus is doubled when adjacent to the noble.
