Languages

There are tons of languages spanning tons of different creatures, ethnicities, and cultures. There are two different categories for languages: Human Languages and Inhuman Languages. Human languages are ones that are spoken by different cultures of humans and have bled into use with specific regions and worlds. Inhuman languages encompass any other language that is not derived from human speech, and instead comes from other races like dragons and angels.

When a race lists its "Native Language", you choose one of the Human Languages below as their native language. Characters gain an additional amount of human languages equal to their Intelligence. Inhuman languages can only be gained through the Linguistics skill.

Not commonly spoken by those outside their race, or even at all sometimes, these races are more exotic than human languages, and tend to focus on sometimes guttural or very quick and impactful speech patterns. Due to their inability to be tied to some human languages, the languages listed will have short descriptions on each of them.

  • Gamorrean - Language of the Gamorreans.

  • Gnomish - Language of the Gnomes.

  • Goblin - Language of the Goblins.

  • Gunganese - Language of the Gungans.

  • Halfling - Language of the Halflings.

  • Ithorese - Language of the Ithorians.

  • Kel Dor - Language of the Kel Dor.

  • Kendarin - Language of the Kendari and corrupted creatures.

  • Lekku - Language of Twi'lek using their lekku to communicate.

  • Sori - Language of the Satori and some other mind readers.

  • Sylvan - Language of nature and some animals.

  • Tengu - Language of the Tengu and some other bird-type creatures.
