Elemental Touch

You can use the arcane with your normally divine gifts.

EXP Cost: 5 EXP

Benefit(s): Choose an arcane element, once chosen this cannot be changed. When using spells or abilities that would normally deal holy or unholy damage you instead deal that arcane element in damage. When used to heal you only heal for half instead of full, however creatures with absorption towards the element you're healing with recover twice as much instead. In addition these elements have the following effects:

  • Fire: Opponents who have their Defense bypassed by 5 or more catch on fire.

  • Cold: You can choose to deal half damage and instead reduce your opponent's move speeds down (to a minimum of 1).

  • Acid: Opponents who have their Defense bypassed by 5 or more take an additional amount of acid damage for 1d4 rounds, this damage is equal to the minimum damage the ability can do (or if there is no minimum it deals your casting stat in damage).

  • Electricity: Opponents who have their Defense bypassed by 5 or more can only move at half their speed and in a straight line for 1d4 rounds.

  • Sonic: The damage of the spell is reduced to d4s (or if there is no roll, it deals 5 less damage). In addition if the opponent has their Defense bypassed by 5 or more they are deafened for 1d4 rounds.

    • Arcana: The damage of the spell is reduced to d4s (or if there is no roll, it deals 5 less damage). In addition if the opponent has their Defense bypassed by 5 or more they are unable to cast spells for 1d4 rounds. This can only affect them once per 24 hours.

    • Corruption: Opponents who have their Defenses bypassed by 5 or more also take 1d4 points of Constitution damage.
