Corrupted Ray

You throw out a ray of corrupted energy that rots your foes' flesh down to the bone.

Target: Enemy within 6 squares

Goes Against: Reflex Defense & Fortitude Defense (see description)

Description: This functions as a standard ray, making an attack against the target's Reflex Defense and on a successful hit 1d6 points of corruption damage is dealt. A separate attack is made against the target's Fortitude Defense and on a successful hit they take a -2 penalty to attack and damage due to the immense pain of the attack.

If you cast a spell with the corruption descriptor more than once a day, you have an attack made against your Will Defense (using your own attack roll) and on a successful hit you shift alignments over to Unholy Disorder for the rest of the day.

By spending 2 EXP to advance this spell one can increase the amount of dice damage the Corrupted Ray deals by +1d6 (max 8d6) and in addition the penalty to attack and damage is increased by 1 for every 2 additional dice you have in Corrupted Ray (to a maximum of -6 at 8d6).
