Wondrous Items

Items designed to give their wearers a leg up in the world, wondrous items (also sometimes known as magical enhancers at more technological places) are a common commodity, though not necessarily cheap they are found in many places.

The typical player character has the following slots for magic items:

    • Head (Helms, Hats, Caps, and Masks)

    • Headband (Headbands)

    • Eyes (Glasses, Monocles, and Eyepatches)

    • Shoulders (Cloaks and Vambraces)

    • Neck (Scarfs, and Amulets)

    • Body (Shirts and Vests)

    • Wrists (Cuffs and Bracers)

    • Hands (Gloves and Claws)

    • Belt (Belt, Sash)

    • Ring (Ring) - An exception to this rule - a character can wear up to two rings.

    • Feet (Boots, Sandals, Shoes)

Magic items which don't fit into these categories are considered "slotless" and thus don't take up a specific space, yet are carried to gain their benefit. Characters can have as many slotless magic items on their person as they can carry.
