RICE FLOUR KACHORI
Rice flour , also called as rice powder , is a form of flour from finely milled rice . Rice flour is rich in nutrients and full of minerals , calcium and zinc . It can be used in a number of ways to create delicious dishes at home . Rice flour is staple in Southeast Asia , Japan and India . Rice flour kachori is a crisp tasty snack which is quick to make . COOKING TIME 30 minutes SERVES 4
INGREDIENTS
Rice flour 1 cup,
potato 1 boiled and grated
onion 1 , garlic 3-4 cloves , ginger 1' , green chilly 1 [ all finely cut and crushed ]
salt , roasted cummin seeds pwd 1/2 tsp , ajwain 1/2 tsp , kalonji 1/2 tsp , oil for frying
METHOD
Crush onion , garlic , ginger and green chilli in mixie or cut finely and crush them with arolling pin .
In a non stick kadai , in 1 tsp oil roast the crushed onion garlic ginger and green chilli . . Roast for 2 minutes .
3 . Add 1 cup water and salt . When the water starts boiling , sim the gas and add 1cup rice flour and mix it .
4 . Add boiled and grated potato . Mix 1/2 tsp each of roasted cummin seeds pwd , ajwain and kalonji .
5 . Switch off the gas and take out in another plate and make a dough with the luke warm mixture . Make 2 balls with the dough . Roll each roll one by one .
6 . Take a glass and cut round pieces from the rolled piece. Cut all the pieces .
7 . Put oil in a kadai . Deep fry the pieces on low meduim gas to make them crisp . They will puff up when turned . Fry them till golden brown .
SERVE TASTY CRISPY RICE FLOUR KACHORI WITH ANY CHATNI OR WITH HOT TEA .
