KULLA CHAT
This is very famous old delhi chat. These days also you can have it in any banquet or wedding parties at the fruit chat counter.This was my favourite when i used to go to chandni chowk.
Preparation time 20 minutes
Serves 4
INGREDIANTS
Cucumber 1
Tomato 1
Potato 1
If you have orange or shakarkandi they can be made also
Chat masala 1 tsp
Roasted cumin powder 1 ts
Black salt 1 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp [very thin ]
Lemon juice 1 tsp
Boiled kabuli chana 1 cup
Pomegranate ½ cup
METHOD
1 Peel cucumber cut in 4 pieces not lengthwise.
2 Cut tomato in half.
3 Boil potato and cut them in half [peel them ]
4 Boil kabuli chana.
5 Now scoop out cucumber tomato and potato from the centre keeping the base of every vegetable intact.
6 To make it ready put pinches of chat masala,kala namak ,sugar,bhuna jeera and little lemonjuice in every scooped out tomato , cucumber and potato in the base.
7 Mix the mixture with a small toothpick.
8 Now fill every scooped vegetable with boiled chana and pomegranate.
ChAT IS READY TO EAT. YOU CAN MAKE THESE SCOOPED FILLINGS IN ORANGES CUT IN HALF AFTER PEELING AND BOILED SHAKARKANDI.
