Gulab Jamun is a dessert recipe prepared with milk powder which is then dipped in hot sugarlsyrup , traditionally , it is prepared from milk khoya, however there are several other easy variations as well . One such variation is preparing with easily available milk powder . It can be prepared with khoya and gulab jamun mix too . Gulab jamun has been a popular and favourite dessert recipe . Served with vanilla ice ream , the soft and spongy sweet texture makes it more delicious. Few tricks and trips are , while giving them round shape , there should not be any cracks , secondly they should be fried on low flame so that they are cooked from inside also , lastly fried gulab jamun should be directly immersed in hot syrup for the juicy and soft result .

For gulab jamun
Milk Powder 1 cup
maida 1/4 cup
baking soda 1/4 tsp
milk 1/4 cup or little more
ghee 1tbs
for sugar syrup
sugar 1 cup
water 1cup
1/2 tsp lemon juice
