Kheel Ke Cutlets / Tasty and Easy Cutlets made with Kheel
Kheel cutlets are very tasty and quick to make . This recipe can also be made like kheel appe to use leftover festival kheel . Cutlets are welcome any time of the day as a midtime snack . Kheel cutlets are very crispy and tasty . Nobody can make out that they are made with kneel . So lets try this recipe .
COOOKING TIME 25 minutes SERVES 4
INGREDIENTS
Kheel 3 cups
potato 2 boiled medium size
Bread crumbs 2 bread slices blended in the mixie
corriander leaves 2 tbs
salt as per taste , red chilli pwd 1/2 tsp , dhaniya pwd 1 tsp , chat masala 1/2 tsp , oil for frying
METHOD OF MAKING KHEEL KE CUTLETS
soak kheel in enough water , so that it soaks properly .
squeeze out from the water after 10 minutes .
blend once or twice in the mixie .
take out in a bowl .
add boiled and grated potato to the kheel .
make bread crumbs of 2 bread slices in the mixie and add them to the kheel potato mix [ you can add bread crumbs of only 1 slice also ]
add 2 tbs corriander leaves cut and washed .
add spices salt , red chilli pwd , corriander pwd [ chat masala is optional ]
mix everything and make a dough .
make cutlet shape of the dough .
heat the oil .
when it is medium hot , drop 2-3 at a time .
fry till golden brown on all the sides .
take out on a paper napkin .
serve with green chatni or tomato sauce and with a cup of tea .

STEP BY STEP OF MAKING TASTY CUTLETS MADE WITH KHEEL
soak kheel in the water for 10 minutes .
squeeze them out after 10 minutes and blend them in the mixie without any water .
take out in a wide bowl . boil 2 potatoes and grate them
mix grated boiled potatoes to the kheel .
add bread crumbs of 2 slices [ you can make bread crumbs by putting 2 slices in the mixie and blend them ] you can add bread crumbs of only 1 slice also .
add 2 tbs corriander leaves cut and washed .
add salt as per taste , red chilli pwd 1/2 tsp , 1 tsp corriander pwd . [ chat masala is optional ]
mix everything and make a dough .
make shapes of cutlets .
heat oil in the kadai .
when it is medium hot , drop 2-3 cutlets at a time .
deep fry on medium gas till golden brown .
take out on a paper napkin .
serve tasty kheel cutlet with green chutney or tomato sauce any time of day .
