JALEBI RECIPE / INSTANT CRISPY JALEBI
Jalebi is an addictive Indian sweet . It tastes best when dipped in rabdi or milk . This recipe is easy and simple and takes very little time . So whenever you are craving for it and you do not want to go out to buy , you can try and relish this jalebi recipe at home . You have to cook jalebi on low medium to make it crisp and the batter should not be thick . With practice you will be able to give it circular shape . I have used pinch of food colour , you can skip it . Instead you can use saffron or turmeric pwd also .
COOKING TIME 30 minutes SERVES 6
INGREDIENTS
Maida 1 cup
curd 1/2 cup
oil 1 tsp
baking pwd 1/2 tsp food colour a pinch or saffron mixed in water or pinch of turmeric pwd
water for making batter
For Syrup
sugar 1cup
water 1 cup , food colour a pinch or pinch of turmeridc pwd juice of 1/2 lemon
For cone
empty poly pack of 1/2 litre milk
