PYAJ PAKORA KADI [ vedio is at the bottom ]
This kadi is very tasty as the pakora are made with onion and fried like onion pakora. Instead of dipping besan pakora we dip onion pakora in the kadi . Kadi is made as usual besan kadi so it it is easy to make too .
COOKING TIME 40 minutes SERVES 4
INGREDIENTS
For pakora
Besan 1 cup
Onion 3 small cut in small pieces , salt as per taste , red chilli powder 1/4 tsp , oil for frying
For kadi
Curd 1/2 kg
Besan 3 tbs , salt as per taste , haldi 1tsp , [ green chilli 2 optional ] water 3 glass
METHOD
Make a mixture of besan with little water, salt and pepper, add onion cut in small pieces to it . Whisk it for 2 minutes .
Heat the oil and drop 1 by 1 pakora in oil with the hand or tea spoon . Fry from both the sides till golden brown .
Soak them in water for 10 minutes .
For kadi add 3 tbs besan with curd and whisk them in mixie so that there is no lump in the mixture .
Pour it in a kadai with 3 glasses of water and keep on high flame . Add salt and haldi . Keep stirring it .
After 2 minutes it starts getting thicker . If it has become very thick add some more water. Now sim the gas cook it for 20 minutes on sim gas only .
Squeeze out the pakora from water and drop them in kadi . Boil for 2 more minutes . Kadhi is ready . You can add lemon juice according to your taste . Make a tadka of cummin seeds and red chilli powder in 1 tbs ghee and pour over kadhi .
