PINWHEEL SNACK [vedio is at the bottom ]
This snack is also called aloo bohakarwadi . It is filled with aloo and rolled like bhakarwadi . So pinwheel samosa is the other name for this snack. It is presentable with shape of wheel in the centre . It can be given single fry and when you want to serve either deep fry again or cook in air fryier .
COOKING TIME 30 minutes SERVES 6
INGREDIENTS
Potato 4 boiled , salt , red chilli pwd 3/4 tsp , dhaniya pwd 1 tsp , amchur pwd 3/4 tsp , garam masala 1/2 tsp
Maida 1.5 cup , oil 1/3 cup , salt , water , oil for frying
METHOD
- Boil potatoes . Grate and mash them .Add salt , red chilli pwd , dhaniya pwd , amchur pwd and garam masala .
- Knead dough with maida , oil . salt and water . Keep for 10 minutes.
- Make 4 parts of the dough . Roll 1 part round not very thin . Spread aloo mixture over it leaving all round cornern ed sides .
- Coat all round sides with the water and start rolling tightly from one side . Roll the round tightly , joining with the water in the end . It will be like thin cylinder . Cut in 1/2 inch pieces .
- After cutting, press each piece flat giving the shape of wheel in the centre . Now deep fry on medium gas for 3-4 minutes.
- If potato is coming out while frying , that means it is not tightly wrapped . For this make a mixture of 1 tbs maida and 1/2 cup water with salt . Take each piece , dip in maida ghol then fry .
SERVE PINWHEEL SNACK OR SAMOSA WITH GREEN AND SWEET CHUTNEY
