ATTA LADOO
Atta ladoo are the most nutritious and healthy food which can be consumed any time of the day as they are filling and tasty too.Some people complain about the ghee but ghee does not increase weight . It only gives more energy to our body. So we should not worry about misconception of ghee and consume it. Ladoo can be kept fresh for days and all the ingredients are generally at home .
Cooking time 1 hour
INGREDIENTS
Wheat flour 2 cup
Ghee 1/2 cup
Ground [pisi ] sugar 1 cup
Almonds 1/2 cup [cut with skin ]
METHOD
- In 1tbs of ghee fry cut almonds for 2 minutes on medium gas . Take the almonds out.
- Mix wheat flour and rest of ghee in the same kadai on slow gas. Fry wheat flour with ghee for 35 minutes on slow gas but you can turn the gas to medium 2-3 times for 2 minutes each time .
- After 35 minutes add fried cut almonds in the atta mixture . Mix it for 5 minutes on slow gas . Switch off the gas .
- Cool the mixture . After 40 minutes when the mixture is luke warm , mix ground sugar. The mixture should not be hot otherwise sugar will melt . Mix it well with hands only .
- Now take 1 tbs of mixture in hand and make ladoo by pressing it again and again and make it round too. If the mixture is dry and you are not able to make ladoo, add 1tbs ghee more to the mixture , then make ladoo .
