CRISPY CORN
Crispy corn is one of the favourite starter in restaurants , whenever we go out for lunch or dinner . Otherwise corn is commonly used in our cooking in making snacks and fillings . Crispy corn is very easy and quick to make .
COOKING TIME 30 minutes SERVES 4
INGREDIENTS
Corn 1cup frozen
Corn flour 2 tbs , salt , oil for frying
METHOD
Take 1 cup corn . Defreeze them for 10 minutes . Wipe out the excess water .
Keep them in a bowl . Mix 2 tbs of corn flour with salt and coat it well . Leave it for 15 - 20 minutes .
Coat more corn flour if you find corn is not coated properly .
You have to be very careful while frying as corn splutter and comes to your face some times . So take care while frying , sheilding your face precautionary .
It happens with some corn only . Do not fry immediately after coating with corn flour , wait for 10 minutes.
Now deep fry coated corn in hot oil . It takes 3-4 minutes to fry .
Take out in a paper napkin so that there is no excess oil . You can serve the crispy corn with chat masala or plain .
You can add tomato , onion or cucumber , green bell pepper cut in very small pieces with chat masala . lemon juice and make chat and serve .
