HARI MIRCH PAKODE
Crisp mirch pakodas stuffed with potato filling make for a great snack . Sip on some tea and munch these crunchy delights .I have added rice pwd with besan but you can make batter with besan only . You can fry once and refry at the time of serving.
COOKING TIME 30 minutes SERVES 3
INGREDIENTS
Green chilli [ moti mirch ] 6
Besan 1cup
Rice flour 1/3 cup
Potato 2 boiled
salt , red chilli pwd 1 tsp , chat masala , 1 tsp , oil for frying
METHOD
Boil potatoes and mash them . Add salt 1/2 tsp , red chilli pwd 1/2 tsp , chat masala or amchur pwd 1/2 tsp .
Wash and wipe moti hari mirch . Slit in the centre and deseed them .
Fill each deseeded green chili with potato mixture .
Make batter with besan and rice powder . If you do not have rice pwd , add colder water to the besan batter and mix masalas . Salt , red chilli pwd and amchur or chat masala . You can add suji instead of rice powder also .
Batter should be medium thick. It should not be thin and runny .
Dip the stuffed chilli in the batter and deep fry till golden brown .
