MEXICAN BHEL [ vedio is at the bottom ]
Mexican bhel is a mexican and indian fusion tasty bhel . For this we make fresh salsa sauce and home made tortilla chips . We mix corriander leaves and sev also to give bhelpuri flavour. It gives awesome taste .
COOKING TIME 30 minutes SERVES 4
INGREDIENTS
For fresh salsa
- Tomato 1.5 cup chopped
Onion 1/2 cup , garlic 1tsp , corriander leaves 1 tbs , tomato sauce 1/3 cup , salt , oregano , lemon juice 1/2 tsp
For tortilla chips
Wheat flour 3/4 cup
Maida 1/4 cup , salt
For bhel
Corn 1/4 cup
Bell pepper 1/4 cup red and yellow mixed
Rajma 1/4 cup boiled
Cheese 1/4 cup grated
METHOD
- First make fresh salsa . Mix 1.5 cup tomato , 1/2 cup onion , 1 tsp garlic all cut in small pieces .
- Add 1/3 cup tomato sauce , salt , oregano and lemon juice . Fresh salsa sauce is ready .
- For tortilla chips , make dough with 3/4 cup wheat flour and 1/4 cup maida by mixing water.
- Roll into thin rotis and roast very lightly on non stick tawa from both the sides .
- Now cut each roti into small diamond shapes with a sharp knife . Deep fry all diamond shapes of rotis in hot oil in a kadai till golden brown .Tortilla chips are ready .
- For mexican bhel , Take fresh salsa which we made , in a big bowl . Add 1/4 cup corn , 1/4 cup coloured bell peppers cut in not very small pieces . Mix 1/4 cup boiled rajma .
- Add salt and 1/4 cup cheese grated . Add tortilla chips at the time of serving . Sprinkle corriander leaves and thin sev on top .
