POHA FRITTERS
Poha fritters or cutlets are tasty snack that you can easily prepare any time of the day as it is so simple and uses minimal ingredients .Poha or beaten rice is healthy and full of iron . Even after a busy day you do not have to think twice about making it h . It is a sure shot hit with the family .IT combines the crunch of poha with the succulence of potato and paneer .
COOKING TIME 25 minutes SERVES 4
INGREDIENTS
Poha 1 cup
Potato 1 boiled
Paneer 1. 5 tbs
Cheese 1 tbs [ optional ]
Corriander leaves 1 tbs , green chilli 1 , 4-5 curry leaves , salt , red chilli pwd 1/2 tsp , chat masala 1/2 tsp , lemon juice 1 tsp
METHOD
- Clean and wash poha properly .Soak poha for 10 minutes . Sieve through strainer so that excess water comes out .
- Squeeze poha and transfer it to big bowl . Add boiled and grated potato , crushed paneer , grated cheese .
- Add wash and cut corriander leaves , curry patta [optional ] and green chiilli cut in small pieces .
- Add salt , red chilli pwd , chat masala and lemon juice . MIx every thing and make a dough .
- Make round balls or flat tikki shape . Make a paste of 2 tbs maida in 3/4 cup water and make bread crumbs of 2 bread slices in mixie .
- Heat oil in kadai . Take 1 ball and dip in maida ghol , then roll it in bread cumbs . And fry .
- You can keep in the fridge to fry them later . You can roast them on non stick tawa , For roasting make tikki shape of the dough .
