PEAS PARANTHA [ vedio is at the bottom ]
Crispy peas parantha with any achar or with aloo ki sabji is a treat . You can make in breakfast also and relish it with white or yellow butter. You can use frozen peas also .
COOKING TIME 20 minutes SERVES 4
INGREDIENTS
Peas 2 cups [ fresh or frozen ]
Wheat flour 4 cups [ make dough adding only water like roti dough ]
Salt as per taste , red chilli powder 1/2 tsp , dhaniya powder 1 tsp , oil to make parantha
METHOD
- Make the dough of wheat flour mixing water neither hard nor soft . Keep aside for 15 minutes .
- Whisk the peas in mixie only once , peas should be only broken not paste .
- In non stick pan roast broken peas with all the masalas for 5 minutes so that the moisture of peas is soaked . Cool it .
- Now roll two rounds of wheat flour 5 inches round each . Spread 1 tbs of peas mixture on 1 round till corners and cover it with second round pressing it from corners and from top of second round .
- Sprinkle dry wheat flour on both sides and start rolling lightly , not pressing very hard . Roll it like any other parantha .
- Roll till 8- 10 inch round and roast on tawa from both sides with little oil . You can make it crisp by pressing it with the spatula.
- It becomes crisp in 2-3 minutes by putting oil and pressing it on medium gas .
PEAS PARANTHA IS READY SERVE IT WITH ACHAR , DAHI OR BUTTER
