Dahi ke sholey is a very tasty crisp snack . The mixture is made of hung curd mixed with vegetables . That's why it is healthy also and it tastes like curd salad . Curd should be hung in muslin cloth for 2 - 3 hours , then it should be kept in fridge for some time so that it becomes more thick .
COOKING TIME 30 minutes SERVES 4
INGREDIENTS
Hung curd 1/2 cup
Bread slice 6
Bell pepper 1 tbs [ cut in small pieces ] , carrot 1 tbs [cut in small pieces ] , salt , pepper , maida 1 tbs , oil for frying
METHOD
Take one and a half cup curd and hung in muslin cloth for 2 hours . Keep the thick curd from muslin cloth in fridge for 1 hour so that more water comes out from the curd and it becomes more thick .
Mix 1 tbs each of bell pepper and carrot cut in small pieces in the curd , Add salt and pepper. Make paste with maida with little water .
Take a bread slice , cut all four corners . Roll the bread slice with rolling pin so that it becomes thin .
Coat all corner four sides of bread slice with paste of maida . Put 1tsp hung curd mixture on one side of bread slice leaving 1/2 inch both sides of hung curd .. Start covering the curd mixture by rolling the slice making it cylindrical .
With the maida paste the end part will stick to the rolled bread slice . Now press the corners on both the sides of cylinderical slices either in a cone shape or just flatten it by pressing making it rectangular shape .
Heat oil in the kadai and deep fry on medium gas till golden brown from all the sides .
Cut them in half in slanting shape.
