MOONG DAL CHILA
There are two types of chillas. Besan and moong dal , even mix dal can be made but more popular are these two .We can mix bottle guard in besan chilla . Today i am making split moong dal chilla with the filling of onion ,tomato with paneer. This comes out very crispy and tasty.

INGREDIENTS
Split moong dal 1 cup
Paneer 200 gm
Onion 1 [cut in small pieces ]
Tomato 1 [cut in small piece ]
Salt 2 tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp few coriander leaves [optional ] oil 2 tbs
METHOD
1. Soak dal for 2 hours .After soaking grind the dal with its green peel .Don’t wash away the green peel of dal .It gives more nutrition to chilla.It makes crisp too .
2. Add 1 tsp salt and very little red chilli powder.
3. The batter should not be thick .It should be like dosa batter.
4. Crush paneer Add tomato ,onion and 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp chilli powder, coriander leaves to the paneer. Mix 1 tsp salt and little red chilli powder.
5. Heat the non stick pan on gas.When it is hot take off gas,sprinkle drops of water on it. Put 1 kadchi of batter in the centre of tawa and spread it around not pressing the batter . [ spreading like dosa ]
6. Keep it on gas again on medium flame .Cook it on slow, medium gas .Pour 1 tsp of oil around it.
7. When you see reddishness on the lines of batter spread on the tawa , it is done and crisp . It takes 3-4 minutes to cook.
8. Put paneer mixture in the centre of chilla . Fold it to half .
SERVE WITH GREEN AND SWEET CHUTNEY .
