HEALTHY CANAPE CHAT
Canape can be filled with different types and variety of chats . Kala chana is most nutritious . We should use it in our day to day cooking . Canape filled with boiled kala chana with green and sweet chutney . It gives awesome taste .
COOKING TIME 30minutes [ soak it overnight ] SERVES 2
INGREDIENTS
Kala chana 1 cup boiled
Canape 6 pieces
Green chutney 2 tbs
Sweet chutney 2 tbs
Potato 1 boiled
Tomato 1 cut in small pieces , salt , chat masala , roasted cummin seed pwd , thin sev 1 tbs
METHOD
- Soak kala chana overnight . Boil for 6-7 whistle and then on slow gas for 15 minutes with enough water . After pressure is down strain boiled kala chana in a strainer .
- Buy a box of canapes . It costs only 60 Rs . Fry for 30 seconds on high flame . Dont fry longer otherwise they will burn . They will be crispy for long time after frying . Other wise they get soggy very soon .
- Cut tomato and boiled potato in small pieces .
- Spread canapes in a plate , put 2 tsp boiled kala chana, small piece of potato Put 2- 3 piece of tomato . Sprinkle salt , chat masalaand roasted cummin seed pwd according to your taste .
- Pour green and sweet chutney 1tsp each on the filling . Sprinkle sev and serve . You can add onion and corriander leaves in each canape .
