KAJU CHIKKI
We love kaju and peanut chikki . The crunch of biting the chikki is awesome. It is costly in the market . We can make it at home in no time .The taste of homemade chikki is very good , nobody can guess that it is made at home .
COOKING TIME 20 minutes
INGREDIENTS
Cashew nuts [ kaju ] 1 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Ghee 2 tsp
METHOD
- Cut each cashew nut into two pieces . Coat a rolling pin and the surface on kitchen top [ about 12 inch round ] with ghee.
- Drop 1 tsp ghee on non stick pan on slow gas .Put sugar in it and melt it on slow gas .
- Within 5-7 minutes sugar will melt and turn into liquidy form ,Switch off the gas .
- Add cashew nuts to it and mix it well.
- Drop the mixture on ghee coated surface on kitchen top and roll the mixture with the ghee coated rolling pin .
- Cool it for 10 minutes .With the knife remove from surface . It will easily come out . Break into pieces .
