Chocolate Butter Cookies / Easy Recipe of Cookies made with Butter and Cocoa Powder
Eggless chocolate butter cookies , any time of the day is a treat . Especially kids love to munch after meal , with milk or just as a sweet filler snack . It is very easy and quick to make . You can store them also and they are good for travel . I have put choco chips on the top layer , you can skip that if you do not have them . So let' s bake and enjoy .
COOKING TIME 25 minutes
INGREDIENTS
Maida 3/4 cup
Cocoa pd 1/4 cup
Sugar pisi 1/2 cup
Butter 1/4 cup [ at room temperature ]
baking soda 1/4 tsp
Milk 3 tbs
METHOD OF MAKING EGGLESS CHOCOLATE BUTTER COOKIES
assemble all the ingredients.
seive 3/4 cup flour , 1/4 cup cocoa powder and 1/4 tsp baking soda in a .bowl .
take another bowl and put 1/4 cup butter at a room temperature and 1/2 cup pisi sugar .
put 3 tbs milk also in the butter sugar mixture .
whisk for 2-3 minutes till it becomes light and fluffy .
add flour slowly in 2-3 parts to the whisked butter sugar mixture .
mix it into a dough .
keep the dough in the fridge for 1/2 an hour .
after 1/2 an hour , take out from the fridge .
preheat oven for 10 minutes on 180 degrees .
make small balls with the dough by pressing them .
take oven tray , coat it with the oil .
take one ball and press it between both the palms and keep on the tray .
keep them little apart from each other .
press 2-3 choco chips on each round shape . you can put nuts over them if you do not have choco chips . or you can bake plain also .
bake for 12 minutes on 180 degrees .
after baking for 12 minutes , take them out .
they are little soft from the top layer when you take them out but they will become hard and crispy after 10 minutes .

you can store them in abox . they remain fresh for 15 days .
STEP BY STEP OF MAKING EGGLESS BUTTER CHOCOLATE COOKIES
seive 3/4 cup maida , 1/4 cup cocoa powder and 1/4 tsp baking soda in a bowl .
mix 1/4 cup butter [ at room temperature ] and 1/2 cup pisi sugar in another bowl .
whisk it with a hand whisker for 2-3 minutes till it becomes creamy and light .
put maida cocoa mix in the creamy butter sugar mix in 2-3 parts .
make dough with the mixture and keep in the fridge for 1/2 an hour ,
take out from the fridge after 1/2 an hour .
preheat oven for 10 minutes on 180 degrees .
coat the oven tray with the oil .
make very small balls with the dough by pressing in the palm .
press the balls flat to give them the shape of the cookie and keep them on the oven tray by keeping them apart at a distance from each other .
put 2-3 choco chips on each cookie by pressing a little . you can put nuts also or you can bake plain without any of these things.
keep them in the preheated oven for 12 minutes to bake .
after 12 minutes take them out .they are little soft on the upper layer . they become crispy after 10 minutes .
