KULCHA RECIPE
Kulcha is a very popular our Indian bread which is eaten with all kinds of vegetables . Kulcha made on tawa is very easy and simple . Whenever I cook dal makhani my kids and husband want kulcha to go with it so I tried kulcha on tawa and it came out very crisp and yummy . Otherwise kulcha is most sought after ordered at the restaurants. Instead of making usual roti or parantha for dinner tried this for change , nothing complicated just a few ingredients , used a regular tawa and cooked over gas top and over direct flame , there you go restaurant style crisp from outside and soft from inside ready to be served . You can make it plain or stuffed or variety of toppings . I have sprinkled kalonji or black sesame seeds , you can add corriander leaves too . This recipe is a plain kulcha for the starters .
COOKING TIME 30 minutes [ 1 hour for the dough ] SERVES 2
INGREDIENTS
Maida 1 cup
Milk 1/4 cup
Curd 1 tbs , baking powder 1/2 tsp , cooking soda 1/4 tsp , salt , sugar 1 tsp oil , kalonji or black sesame seeds 1 tsp , corriander leaves 1 tbs
