GUR KE CHAWAL/ JAGGERY RICE
Gur rice or jaggery rice is one of the most favourite food of Punjab in winters . Now it is commonly made in North India as it is very healthy , nutritious and tasty . Gur is beneficial and digestive so we should use it any form in winters . Gur ke chawal is very easy and quick to make . You can eat them with urad dal also . Otherwise plain bathua raita is also agood combination .
COOKING TIME 30 minutes SERVES 4
INGREDIENTS
Rice 1 cup
Gur or jaggery 3/4 cup
Bay leave 1, cinnaman stick 1 , cloves 2-3 , cardamom 2
cashew nuts 4-5 , almonds 4-5 , kishmish 4-5 .
Ghee 2 tbs , water 2 .5 cup
