MANGO LASSI
Mango lassi is so easy to prepare and perfect to enjoy seasonal fresh mangoes . This is a healthy drink too . During summer months , it is very popular as it helps to cool down and beat the strong heat while providing energy . This is creamy delicious thick mango lassi , an Indian version of a smoothie , requires only a few ingredients and tastes heavenly . As the last leg of summer season of king of fruits Mango is there , we should enjoy it fully in any form . You can make Mango lassi with any type of mango but not the raw or sour one .

COOKING TIME 10 minutes SERVES 2
INGREDIENTS
Mango 1 cup cubed
Yogurt 1 cup
Sugar 2 tsp
Milk 1/3 cup , cardamom pwd 1/4 tsp , [ saffron few strands ] pista , almonds 1 tsp cut in small pieces , few ice cubes
METHOD
Peel and cut mangoes . Put them in a blender . Add 1 cup yogurt to the mangoes .
Add 1/3 cup milk . Add 2 tsp sugar and cardamom pwd . Blend it well .
Add 2-3 cubes of ice and blend again . Mango lassi is ready . If it is thick add little yogurt or milk more . Serve with toppings of pista , almonds cut in small pieces and small cubed pieces of mango . You can add few strands of saffron on top while serving.
