EASY SPAGHETTI
This spaghetti is so easy and quick to make that you would like to make it again and again .I have used vegetable broth by making it separately but you can add vegetables of your choice and just plain water in boiling and making the spaghetti .
COOKING TIME 30 minutes SERVES 4
INGREDIENTS
Spaghetti 25 sticks
Tomato 1 cup [ cut3 small tomatoes ]
onion 1 cut in small pieces , garlic 6-7 cut in small pieces , cauli flower 1/ 2 cup , carrot 1/2 cup , bell pepper 1/3 cup , beans 1/3 cup , tomato sauce 2 tbs , herbs oregano and basil 1/2 tsp each , olive oil or any oil 1tbs
METHOD
- For vegetable broth , boil 1/2 cup cauliflower , 1/2 cup carrot , 4-5 beans , 1/3 cup green bell pepper in 4 cups pf water . All veggies should be cut in small pieces . Boil for 10 minutes on high flame with salt . Strain through strainer . The water of the boiled veggies is vegetable broth .
- In a pan put 1 tbs oil or olive oil , add garlic , onion cut in small pieces . After roasting for 2-3 minutes add 1 cup tomato cut in pieces . Roast for 2 more minutes , now add vegetable broth .
- Instead of vegetable broth, you can add veggies of your choice with 3 cups water directly to the pan in which onion . garlic and tomato is roasting .
- When vegetanle broth starts boiling add 25 -30 spaghetti sticks by breaking them and salt . Cover the pan on medium gas . After 10-15 minutes check if the spaghetti is tender , if it is not done and there is very little water , add more water and cover the pan again .
- It takes 15- 20 minutes to cook the spaghetti , add 1tbs tomato sauce , mix well. Add oregano 1/2 tsp , dried basil 1/2 tsp and again mix . Switch off the gas . Spaghetti is ready .
