BANDAGE TIKKI
Tikki with bandage is presentable and it is easy to make . Potato tikki is very simple to make .The tikki is wrapped with 2 stripes crossing in the centre of the tikki making it the shape of bandage .

INGREDIENTS
For tikki
Potato 2 boiled
Bread crumbs 2 slices crushed in mixie , salt , red chilli pwd 1/2 tsp
For bandage wrap
Maida 3/4 cup
Suji 1 tbs , oil 1 tbs , salt , ajwain apinch , cashew nuts 2 piece
METHOD
- Boil potatoes . Cool them and grate them . Make bread crumbs with 2 slices by crushing them in mixie .
- Mix bread crumbs to the grated boiled potatoes . Add salt and red chilli pwd . You can add 1/2 tsp amchur pwd also .
- For bandage wrap dough , mix maida , suji , oil . Add salt and ajwain also . Make dough adding little water . Keep aside for 10 minutes .
- Make tikki shape of the potato mixture .
- Roll the dough round . It should be not very thin or very thick . Cut 1/2 inch stripes with a knife . Pick 1 maida stripe , coat it with little water and wrap around the tikki vertically .
- Take another stripe and wrap around horizontaly on the same tikki , coating little water on second stripe also . It should stick at the back of the tikki .
- It covers the tikki like a bandage . Cut cashew nut into half and paste half cashew nut in the centre of crossed stripes .
- Heat the oil in a kadai . Fry the bandage tikki on slow gas . If the gas is too slow , make it medium . It takes 3-4 minutes to fry .
SERVE BANDAGE TIKKI WITH ANY SAUCE AND CHATNI
