PIZZA PARANTHA [ vedio is at the bottom ]
Pizza parantha is a healthier form of any pizza . It tastes much better and good for kids as you don't have to buy the pizza base from the market .You can add corn , mushroom , olives or any other vegetable of your choice . it is easy and quick to make .
COOKIMG TIME 25 minutes SERVES 2
INGREDIENTS
Wheat flour 4 cups
Cheese 1 cup grated
Onion 1 , bell pepper 1 , salsa or pizza or tomato sauce 2 tbs , [ oregano , chilli flakes ] optional , salt , oil
METHOD
- Knead dough with wheat flour , salt and water , like roti dough . Keep aside for 10 minutes.
- Cut onion and bell pepper in small pieces . Grate cheese .
- Take 2 round balls with the dough . Each round should be double the size of a roti . Roll them round like roti but not thin like roti .
- One round should be 1/2 inch bigger than the second round .
- Take the bigger round and spread salsa or pizza or tomato sauce over it , You can place the bigger round on non stick tawa on sim gas . Spread little cheese grated over the sauce . Now spread onion , bell pepper over it .
- Sprinkle oregano , chilli flakes . It is optional . Lastly spread more grated cheese over it .
- Now cover it with the second parantha and press the corners with the fork from all the round sides .
- Preparing and filling the base of pizza can be done in a plate and put on non stick tawa too .
- Roast with oil on both the sides on medium [ or slow ] gas like a parantha not pressing it hard .
- It takes 7-8 minutes to roast . Take out in a plate and cut in 4 or 6 pieces like pizza .
