CHOPSUEY [vedio is at the bottom ]
Chopsuey is a very tasty chinese dish which can be easily made at home . You have to buy parboiled noodles from the market . It has good quantity of vegetables and chilly sauce gives good flavour .
COOKING TIME 1/2 hour SERVES 4
INGREDIENTS
Noodles 2 cup
Onion 1/2 cup [cut in small pieces ]
Cabbage 1/2 cup [cut in small pieces ]
Carrot 1/2 cup [cut in small pieces ]
Bell pepper 1/2 cup [ cut in small pieces ]
Tomato sauce 1/2 cup , chilly sauce 1 tbs , vinegar 1 tbs , salt and sugar 1tsp , oil 1 tbs , corn flour 1.5 tsp mixed in 1.5 cup water
METHOD
Buy parboil noodles from the market . Fry 2 cups noodles in oil for 2 minutes .
Mix corn flour in water. [1.5 tsp corn flour in 1.5 cup water ]
Put 2 tbs oil in kadai . When the oil is hot add onion . After 1 minutes add cabbage , carrot , bell pepper , all cut in small pieces .Fry for 3-4 minutes on high flame till vegetables have become crunchy .
Mix 1/2 cup tomato sauce and 1 tbs chilly sauce . Mix well . Now add corn flour mixed in water to the veg mixture. Add 1 tbs vinegar also to the vegetable mix . Add salt and sugar too .
Boil for 2 minutes till gravy becomes little thick .
While serving put fried noodles in a bowl and pour hot vegetable gravy on it .
