Confidence.

What man ,woman, young, old & all need is confidence.Confidence is one of the essential qualities needed to lead life. It's very powerful. Sometimes ,only confidence disappoints. One should always begin anything with confidence only. Even thief would never think that he would be caught.Confidence is the father of achievement. It's needed in all walks of life. It's a quality that most people envy also.Life is full of works. There are numerous tasks. One cannot attend all the tasks alone. Delegation is sometimes quite essential. Only if one has confidence in others they can delegate. Reposing confidence in others isn't an overnight affair at all.

Confidence is broadly of three types . One is self confidence. Another is confidence we repose in others. Third one is confidence that others create in us.It doesn't matter if one has no confidence in others one must have it at least in selves. Besides having confidence in self, one must have confidence in God too. God never lets one go under any circumstances. He would be always with them. Success and failure are common in life. No matter if one loses something, one mustn't lose confidence at all. Confidence could prove to be right or wrong. It's confidence that often enables one to face the storms of life. It makes one grow and prosper. It's inner strength. It's inspiration. However, confidence should be where it should be . It shouldn't be everywhere. When where and how much confidence they should have one should always use discretion.

Confidence is a feeling that makes one think that they are capable of doing something with ease and calmness. Confidence and optimism always go together. One with confidence could only take risks in life. One must have it to the last moment of their life. At times, even though one has no confidence one has to pretend that they have it. One needn't tell that they have confidence or not. Their behavior and performance reveal whether they have it or not. Confidence always pays rich dividends . It's a magic wand to achieve anything remarkable. It couldn't be fully described. It is always visible wherever it is. Of course , it's glaring wherever competitions are there. There are ways to build confidence. Once it's built tasks become easy.

Confidence is a quality that's often applauded & appreciated .It's always a strength. It's a fuel that makes everything run. When, where and how it would be useful it can't be said.It can work wonders. It's a catalyst. It's a mental power. It makes one look forward only. It wouldn't allow one to look backwards at all. Sometimes it persuades one to do something good and sometimes, it persuades one to do something bad too. It's a golden key to achievement of one's most treasured dreams. It will open doors for one & will enable them to perform with excellence once they get inside those doors. Plight of anybody without confidence is inexplicable.

A man with confidence and a man without confidence are two different personalities. A man with confidence will never feel insecure at all. Performance of one may develop confidence in another. Pats, nods and praise are tools that could install confidence in a man too.Any work done without confidence wouldn't be nice. Talents & skills without confidence are of little use only. Confidence isn't something that one can wear like T-shirt or a gold watch .Lack of it in anyone is a serious deficiency only. Confidence is seldom constant. It is a variable. It either increases or decreases. It depends upon situations and various factors. One's upbringing often affects confidence in them. One who has doubtful nature normally has less confidence too.

How much confidence one has that situations in life reveal.Confidence is always within. It's a companion to man in happiness as well as in distress. It changes a man.It will earn one respect and get them results. It’s a certain pep in one's step. A way of walking.A contagious charisma .It will free one from countless hours of wasted worry. It will bring priceless energy & enthusiasm to whatever one undertakes. It's always has to be built up or developed. It doesn't fall from the skies. It seldom emerges all of a sudden. One who exhumes confidence under adverse circumstances always draws more praise.

A strong man needn't be a confident man. There's vast difference between man with confidence & man without confidence. A man with confidence would be generally full of energy and a man without confidence would be usually pale . A man with confidence always holds his head high but man without confidence wouldn't hold head high at all. When all other things are equal it's confidence that tilts the balance. Confidence always wins the vote. One has confidence means it is as good as winning half the battle. It's as good as a task half completed.

Mere confidence is always of no use. One must have other capabilities too.Confidence grows as one accepts more and more challenges and meets them. It's the product of positive thoughts. It's a weapon which is useful at all times.Confidence is usually reflected in one's words and deeds. It is belief in oneself and one's powers or abilities. The greatest barrier to success is the fear of failure. It isn't enough one has knowledge one must have confidence also . Those who have inferiority complex normally lack confidence.

Without confidence nothing could be done easily or perfectly. Some only disclose or display their confidence and some do not disclose it . Confidence isn't I may be able to do it. It is I would do it. What all it would persuade one to do it can't be imagined also. However, overconfidence is always dangerous. Further, once the confidence is lost, it's difficult to regain it also.

Lama Yeshe says "Self-confidence isn't a feeling of superiority, but of independence." Dalai Lama says"Self-confidence is knowing that we have the capacity to do something good and firmly decide not to give up."

Courage is not confidence. Successes increase confidence in man whereas failures decrease it in man. Similarly, more the fear less would be confidence in a person. One who has no confidence avoids facing a situation. Everyone wouldn't have the same quantum of confidence in every field. Confidence differs from man to man & from field to field too.It depends on various factors like knowledge and experience etc.It depends upon individual's mindset. Some have more or amazing confidence and some have moderate confidence. Some do not have confidence in their right hand and their left hand .People suffering from depression don't have confidence in selves at all.

People repose confidence in one another. It's confidence that prompts one to entrust others work. Confidence has to be maintained always. It shouldn't be allowed to go astray at all. They are ways to maintain and build confidence.

Here is a short story of confidence which I came across over internet. Author of it is not known to me.

There was a business executive who was deep in debt and could see no way out. Creditors were closing in on him. Suppliers were demanding payment. He sat on the park bench, head in hands, wondering if anything could save his company from bankruptcy.

Suddenly an old man appeared before him. “I can see that something is troubling you,” he said.

After listening to the executive’s woes, the old man said, “I believe I can help you.”

He asked the man his name, wrote out a check, and pushed it into his hand saying, “Take this money. Meet me here exactly one year from today, and you can pay me back at that time.”

Then he turned and disappeared as quickly as he had come.

The business executive saw in his hand a check for $500,000, signed by John D. Rockefeller, then one of the richest men in the world!

“I can erase my money worries in an instant!” he realized. But instead, the executive decided to put the uncashed check in his safe. Just knowing it was there might give him the strength to work out a way to save his business, he thought.

With renewed optimism, he negotiated better deals and extended terms of payment. He closed several big sales. Within a few months, he was out of debt and making money once again.

Exactly one year later, he returned to the park with the uncashed check. At the agreed-upon time, the old man appeared. But just as the executive was about to hand back the check and share his success story, a nurse came running up and grabbed the old man.

“I’m so glad I caught him!” she cried. “I hope he hasn't been bothering you. He’s always escaping from the rest home and telling people he’s John D. Rockefeller.”

And she led the old man away by the arm.

The astonished executive just stood there, stunned. All year long he’d been wheeling and dealing, buying and selling, convinced he had half a million dollars behind him.

Suddenly, he realized that it wasn't the money, real or imagined, that had turned his life around. It was his newfound self-confidence that gave him the power to achieve anything he went after.
