県内では、下記1ｹ所のみで確認されている。

湧水・水場、土手

クモノスゴケと棲み分けをし、ツガゴケと共存していた。密生してやや立ち上がり気味に生育していた。

尚、採集地と思われる場所は、既に整地されており、均茶庵の踏査では不明だった。

3402.1 Pallavicinia　　クモノスゴケ

【Meagher】according to Ammons (1940) and Koperski (1991), named after Lazarus Pallavicini, Italian botanist and archbishop of Genoa. However, it might equally be named after Italian naturalist Ignazio Alessandro Pallavicini, or after the Marquis Adalberto Pallavicin delle Frabose, first president of the Spcoeta Agraria in Turin.

【BFNA】Probably for Lazarus Opizio Pallavicini, fl. 1719-1785, botanist and archbishop of Genoa, although others of this family were also naturalists.

【牧野】Pallavicini の名に因む

【秋山】イタリアの大僧正 L. Pallavicini 氏の名前から。
