現在では、Schistochilopsisの属名が使用されている。1ｹ所のみから報告されているが、もう10年以上前となる。

【BFNA】G. lophos, crest, spike, alluding to angular ends of lobes

【秋山】lopho=脊（この場合は皺）＋ zia=芽(花被)。花被に3ないし多数の皺があることから。
