After Praja Rajyam Party president K Chiranjeevi and Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, it was the turn of revenue minister N Raghuveera Reddy to face the brickbats from the followers of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in Kadapa district on Monday.
The Jagan supporters pelted stones at Raghuveera, who was campaigning for his cabinet colleague D L Ravindra Reddy in Kamalapuram assembly segment. They were apparently angry with Raghuveera’s comment that any vote for Jagan was equal to voting for a buffalo. Even as he was speaking, the agitated supporters of Jagan hurled stones, causing injury to the minister. He was immediately rushed to the nearby primary health centre for first aid.
